Help!! What to app for?

Hi folks, I have been cruising the boards for the last month or so. I have been recently sweating my scores a bit as I am in need of a new vehicle.

In the past month I disputed a few derogs and got my Util rate under 10% which has resulted in TU being 710, EQ and EX showing at 780+ here in myFico (after starting between 660-680 last month). I have 1 derog in dispute at the moment and is an unpaid charge off from 2009 from HSBC.

I am wonder what cards to app for? Today I did a credit app for the new vehicle and got the top tier rate I was looking for. This afternoon I did the Cap1 prequal and app'd for QS and Venture. I was approved for both at 12.9% with $10k and $15k limits respectively. These 3 inquires are the only inquiries I currently have.

As far as what I am looking for in a card I would prefer something that has no AF. I don't travel often but would love a card I can completely abuse to either bank up some cash back (like the QS) or earn points to then use to take the family on our first vacation (kids are all over 10 and Disney calls).

I haven't a clue what cards are out there that have the best rates and fit what I am looking for. I am hoping someone can help me cut down the research.

You do know that the Venture has an AF, right? Granted, it is waived the first year, but still.

As for my recommendations, you could go for a Discover. 1% back on everything, 5% rotating categories, and double cash back for your first year. Essentially making it a 2% everyday card and 10% rotating category card at least for the first year. Freedom is another good one with 5% rotating categories and no AF.
