It's okay. Everything was telling me not to apply yet but I did after getting approvals I didn't expect and got over confident I guess.

I didn't either. LOL. But I guess it is always a possiblity. Like I said, it was my fault, I'm the one who app'd.

I got cocky because I was able to get back in this summer with Bank of America, Citi and Amex after past delinquencies with them. So 3 out of 4 wasn't bad.

That bites water. Cap1 only double pulled me for Venture so I thought I was getting lucky, only to find that Chase also double pulled me for Freedom.

They have permission to pull 1, 2 or all 3 bureaus when you app for any card. You are seeking credit and they can access as much info as they need to give you a decision.

However, it's rare to see it from Discover. Since you just got in with BOA/Citi/Amex it's likely you just need to wait and garden. Good luck.

You know, it sounds like they were doing their best to approve you since they pulled all three reports. In a way it is almost a positive sign. I am guessing that after gardening for a while you will be successful.

Water, I think musiclover may be on to something here when she mentions that they may have pulled all three reports because they were trying to approve you.

They do have an excellent customer service department. Why not call them back and see if they could counter with a secured, operating on the presumption that they were trying to approve you? Never hurts to ask. Hope this helps.

That really blows.. It looks like they were trying to approve you w/triple pull, but couldnt for whatever reason. Sorry to hear, that hurts a bit. No one would be happy with that if it happened to them and ended in a denial .

I got my denial letter in the mail yesterday. I called the recon number on the sticky page at 9 this morning and it was a no-go, the second lady was able to transfer me to another department and the guy went over two of the three reports that were pulled and asked some questions. He put me on hold for about five minutes and came back and approved me for the secured version! He emailed me a link and stayed on the phone with me to fund the account with my discover savings account. Very excited. Thank you to everyone for encouraging me to call!

When I got discover back in April, and they pulled ex and eq. At the time my score was only 647 eq. I also have a 6+ year old unpaid judgement. What are your scores?
