Discover - well I appplied

They asked me to upload proof of new address so I did. I had our homeowners ins. paperwork. Then they asked me to upload a copy of my ss card/drivers license for proof of ID so I did.

Once the app and uploads were done, still no instant approval. The message said: Here's whats next: Your information was successfully uploaded. Please allow 5-7 days to process your application. We will call if we have any questions. If your application is approved, we will send you a welcome email.

Is this the normal process for Discover or am I denied??

Sounds like approval waiting to happen. otherwise. you would have ben instantly denied.They would not have went through all that to deny you. Once verified. more than likely you are in.

I had the same thing, asked for some verification stuff, uploaded it, and in 3 days I was approved for 3500.00.

Like was said, it looks like an approval.

Same, upload ID and SS card. I then called because it gave me an exception error to next page. They approved me right then, 4500. I say call them.

Thanks everyone! I will keep my fingers crossed then! I think I am just automatically expecting rejection lol It is the weekend so I will give them a day or three to see if I hear from them then I will call. I haven't even gotten an alert for a new inquiry. I think the new address kicked it into a manual approval.

Most likely verification. Doubt they'd make you submit proof of residence if they were just gonna deny you lol. That's just messed up.

(800) 347-4736 this is the number my daughter called. Took a whole 30 seconds to find out she was approved and what her SL was going to be. Good luck!

You have to accept the offer. They are open 24 hours. No approval until you call.

I called the number momtimes listed. Said they were closed and to call back during normal business hours. - They didn't say what the normal business hours were but I will try again until I get through.

exact samething happened to me yesterday. Fairly new address so i think they just wanted to verify that. I called in and they said that a senior analyst wanted to speak with me. After the rep asked me a few questions, they told me i was approved for 10k. I'd call if i were you, good luck

Talked with them. They had a senior analyst call me with a couple questions, primarily the address change. They approved me with a $3,500 limit. I was hoping for more, oh well. NFCU is going to be the next card I apply for then I will go to the garden for a while.
