Funding a Secured Discover IT Card

Does anyone know how long you are given to fund a Secured Discover It card if it's offered to you?

My wife never got an email when she was offered one. Called back few days later and they said cant do anything and should've taken the offer at that time. So I guess that depends if you still have your email.

I received mine earlier this month and was given 3 days. Others on here got a week to give their deposit. When I saved the offer, it told me I had 3 days. Did you receive a pop up or email. I was told in a pop up after I hit save the offer.

Good luck! I love the card and rewards. I got in with the double Cashback so I use it more than my QS and QS1 at this point.

I haven't applied yet. Waiting to make sure I have the deposit money if countered with the secure card.

I was given a week. Nice thing now is you can add to your deposit,so even just making the minimum deposit would get you in and you can up it down the road.

I just applied this past week and was given 5 days. I was hopping it would be longer. Since I have read that its not an easy offer to get I am going to make sure i fund it before the deadline. Ive applied for a Discover card in the past and was never offered it until now. Not sure if its cause I applied for a student card or not.

Confirm no HP to increase deposit. I did not see a SP on EQ or TU, so it may or may not be any pull. Then again they have my fico score

Update on my secured card offer: Today was my last day to fund my card. I did an online chat with a rep after seeing the option to save my offer for later when I logged into the card funding site. This option apparently gives you an additional 5 days to fund the card. My only concern is the followup email I received reminding me to load my card which still has my original funding deadline instead of one 5 days out.

I will confirm that my offer will still be good 5 days from now.

Update: I applied for the Discover It was declined as expected but was offered the secured card. Applied and funded it on Friday and the money was taken out my account today. Card should be on its' way.
