At the time my utiliztion and inquires were a lot. I was approved for $300 card which I felt insulted by LOL. My highest CL is 18400 and getting&nbsp;a $300 card?? I didn't understand. Anyway I never actived the cap one card but's its been showing on my credit since november. My question is should I close the card or leave it open? I would like to apply for the venture card at the end of the year and my score is back to the mid 700's and queries will be fallen off by then. Will my chances be affected by the 300 card they issued me earlier? Sure it's a small limit, but it'll help with your AAoA. Unless of course you already have an extensive credit history, in which case feel free to close. But either way it won't affect your Venture app in any way.
