Victoria Secrets 7-10 Day Message

I applied for the Angel Card and got the 7-10 day message. I checked my CR and see they only pulled from EX but the inquiry neither raised or lowered my scored. My scored stayed the same. Hmmmm. What could this mean?

Something similar happened to me. I received a pop up approval and after completing the screen I got a review message as well. I called the Comenity VS number and they had no record of my application and said give it a week and reapply. I got another pop up, applied and got the card. I suggest that you give them a call to see if your app is being processed. It was a soft pull, so you must have applied right out and not through the pop up. Good Luck, I hope you get the account.

Yes. I applied after attempting the shopping cart trick which never worked for me lol. I'm glad my score did not drop because I definitely did not need that to happen *whew* I called and was told to wait for the 7-10 days letter and do what it says. I was hoping she would tell me something but I did apply only yesterday. Thank you. I hope I get the card too. I love shopping there. Guess, I'll just wait until the letter comes.

So your app is processing,.. Waiting is difficult, while I hope you get it, at least you didn't take a hit against your score. Keep working on your credit, things will change. I've been there!

I know right. That's what I said, atleast my credit did not take a hit and I will definitely refrain from attempting to app until next year. Thanks for the advice. I recently filed BK7 and it was discharged 06/15/2015. I have since obtained 3 credit cards and an auto loan that has not started reporting yet. I am going to go sit down somewhere and quit rushing things and let it happen in time. Thanks again for the advice.

There are a couple of lenders that offer store cards with a soft pull on your credit report. If you go into Comenity.com and type a A into the search field, it will pull up the stores that offer credit cards, some are Visa cards ( the Visa cards will result in a hard pull in your CR). the trick is that you determine the store that you want a credit card, go into that site, put a few items in the cart. Check out as a guest and put your information in the billing and shipping screens. Once you get to the payment screen, a pop up pre approval screen may appear and if it does, it invites you to apply for instant credit. You accept the invite and key your DOB, income and the last 4 digits of your SSN. If you are approved, it will tell you the amount, if not you will get a review message. If you are approve, it will take you back to the payment screen and if you don't want to purchase the items, just backout, close the screen or remove the items. It will have no impact on the credit that you were extended. You will receive your card in a week or so. While it is advertised that Synchrony has a couple of account like that, but I never been successful with them...no pop up. Sometimes you have to do the cart trick many times before the approval pops up. Hope this helps.
