Weird Cap One decline.

So ive been trying to get my dad's credit back to a decent score, and I was able to get him a Barclay's card and a JCP card, and we also tried for a QS1 but they denied him for this reason:

The reason(s) for our decision are:
• Based on your credit report from one or more of the agencies on the back of this letter, income is
insufficient for requested credit
His income is 80k so **bleep**.

Did he accidentally write 8k rather than 80k? Any chance one of his credit reports is showing old income from an old job or from a long time ago (or even wrong info from the work number)? I know my dad had old income showing on one of his reports years ago, even though he was making more at that time it still showed the older income. This was years ago though so I'm not sure if it's still showing or not.

No and no, all of his accounts have a 0 blance, and I filled it our for him, and I throughly checked it.

Just have him call and recon, probably a systemic error.

I have had that same thing on my denial letter from Cap1...funny as my income is over $100k
