Okay, so I see that many are apping for Bon-Ton. I tried on their web site, but there is no app page. How does one achieve that?

You go to the store and apply in person or google Bon-Ton credit card application. The same applies for any of their other family of brands (i.e. Elder-Beerman, Carson's, Bergner's, Younkers, etc.).

DANGIT! I forgot today was the day that any home store purchase yielded 5 rewards cards! (like them for 10 off 50 for cosmetics)

I've seen them run that 5 $20 rewards cards for new apps twice in the past two week. Wait a few days of a week and see if it pops up again and if so app on that day. An extra $100 for doing a cold app to get the card makes it a little more worth taking the HP hit. I lost 2 or 3 points for the HP but gained 10 back when updated with the almost 11K SL.

sorry to post this a few times but I feel its semi important.

Our bergners account was at 11.2k, and a few weeks ago I got it up to 15. That limit showed up on credit report, and online for this person. Now today I check and its back at 11.2k.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. I guess that is the chance we take when applying. I have gotten my limit increased just once and I will,definitely try again. If they have "fixed" the auto lady, it was a good run. I know that is one store I would not shop, the shipping is overpriced and not a wide variety of items that I enjoy, strictly utilization for me. Thanks for sharing.

No problem. The auto lady was very nice regardless, going from 1400 to 11.2 is RARE for a carsons card.

I do like their sales from time to time though especially for gifts. Have been able to score some crazy deals on cosmetics and stuff for gifts too. You cant beat 15% off on brand name things on top of $10 off $50 ($20 off $50 for everything else basically)

Nope I applied for bon ton a week after carsons, and it approved me but then the letter came saying you can not have more then one account because the one card can be used interchangebly at the other family of stores.
