Is today my AMEX 3x CLI day?

So I opened my AMEX BCE card sometime in Feb 20th? or so. The limit was 2.5k.

I requested and recieved a 3X CLI to 7.5k on Feb 28 2015.

I used an online calculator and today is 5 months and 30 days "between" the two dates. OR 180 days "between" the two dates, but the number of actual days is 181? CONFUSED.

My scores have gradually been going up. Some inquires dropped off and Amex.com has my Experien score at 744 as of July 22.

I currently have about $900 on the card. The last statement was 700. Down from $1300. So I pay big amounts but am using the 0% and perks from Best Buy. Bought a mac and a new Samsung Galaxy Not 5

Is today the day? I make $50k a year and have send been approved for a 12.5k Navy Fed card 4 months ago. Utilization is at like 5%.

Firstly, I want to say that the 181 days has been debunked. However, I would still wait the 181 days if I were in anyone's shoes. You can show history and the more history, the better. Use wolfram alpha and have it tell you what 181 days after X date is. I use it for all my CL date finding, it's never wrong lol.

Can't speak to anything else, maybe somebody else can chime in.

Thanks! I used the site you recommened and tomrorrow (Friday) is my 181st day Gonna try tomorrow at lunch time. Fingers crossed!

I don't believe the 181 has been debunked at all.

The first 61 days, for a new card, that's a YMMV thing, but once one requests an AMEX CLI, it's 6 months wait on that and every other AMEX revolver the cardholder has before another CLI can be requested on that or any other AMEX revolver.

And with any of these AMEX CLI requests, if your scores have been increasing recently, it's advisable to wait to allow the SP that AMEX does to catch up to that. They don't have a SP from today for your CLI request that you do today. It's most likely a month or two back in the past, but not really easily determinable to the average user.

What makes you think thev181 days has been 'debunked'. AFAIK you still need to wait that time period between CLIs.

I don't think 181 days has been debunked at all. My scores have been in the 750 range so I think I'll be fine to do it today since today is my 181 day. Fingers crossed

I totally meant the 61 3X CLI. Lol...sorry I mis-read/mis-wrote. Glad the site worked. I literally just type in "181 days after DateX" and it tells me.

This is a good thing. Max exposure on that card for you is most-likely $25K and you'll definately be able to hit it in 6 months.
