Approved for Discover IT in September with a 1200.00 limit and no introductory rate, 22.99% on all purchases. My question is, should I close this card and reapply in a year or so when I am in the 700+? Not sure if I would not qualify for the introductory rate if I've had the card in the past.... Got the 1200 on recon..... Please advise!!

Call the automated number and see if you can get an SP CLI. Good luck!

Looks like they are trying different approach now. Instead of 0% apr. They are now giving cash as sign up. Unless your social change I'm pretty sure even if you close and reopen they will not give bonus. So just keep it as others said. Otherwise everyone would be closing and re applying all the time. Good luck
