Imagine someone else opening this same account using breached data and trying to send fake documents.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I applied for the NFL Rewards &amp;amp; Apple Rewards a few weeks ago.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was told by a credit&amp;nbsp;analyst and through my denial letter that I was denied for the NFL Rewards but that I needed to send in verification (front/back copy of ssn card, license, and an utility bill) for the Apple Reward application. Sent all this through certified mail because I wanted to make sure my personal information was delivered.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It was&amp;nbsp;delivered on the 24th so I've called once a week to see if they actually got it and as of earlier today they still had not&amp;nbsp;received it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I called back to ask about the reasoning for denial behind the rewards card because I was confused when I get I got the denial letter a few weeks ago. After being placed on hold by someone in the security department she comes back to say that "they" said my&amp;nbsp;verification documents look suspect and that I need to send them in again. (I was just told that they had not been received &lt;img id="smileysad" class="emoticon emoticon-smileysad" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif" alt="Smiley Sad" title="Smiley Sad" /&gt;)&amp;nbsp;I asked her to please explain what "suspect" means since I simply placed them on a printer and printed them out. She stated she&amp;nbsp;didn't know what that meant and suggest that I send them again but at their regular size. So I'm guessing since my copies were zoomed in just a tad bit (sorry for making sure they could be read clearly) I have to resend them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;She also stated that I need to send the documents in again for the NFL card and I was like I thought I was denied for that card do you mean the apple rewards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ugh I'm so confused and aggravated now.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Please don't sweat this. It's perfectly normal.&amp;nbsp;I know that&amp;nbsp;it's easier said then done but here's why.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also went thru the same exact thing recently only with Capital One and after i already been approved and had the new&amp;nbsp;Venture card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's a somewhat routine process but after they confirm it all you're good to go and won't have to repeat it again in all likelihood.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was given a FAX number and sent all the proof of identity forms etc. BUT they said it was too dark to read on their end. I know good and well when i sent them they were crystal clear copies front and back but maybe the ink run low on their end or perhaps the want a 2nd round just to be sure. Who knows. If they need you to do it again just go ahead and meet their expectation by resending them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's kinda of annoying but usually the 2nd time around they're satisfied and all is well again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good Luck &lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yeah, it's fairly normal. A pain in the butt sure, but normal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, getting 2 new Barclay apps approved at the same time is extremely rare, so the best you can hope for is one or the other. Good luck.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I also applied for the Apple Card and they(security)wanted the same identity proof the OP stated. After about 50 questions they wanted me to send in 3 pieces of proof. I was like "Come on mannnnn" you should of said that in the first place.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Update:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I sent them back a second set of documents on 09/09/2015, and have been calling once a week to ensure that my documents have made it there. Every phone called I was told that they had not been received yet and&amp;nbsp; to give it a few more days. I called on Monday, 10/19/2015 and was told again that they had not been recived. I found it very weird that it was taking this long so I made one last phone call last night and was given some information that just pissed me off. I was told by this lady (she clearly had an attitude and was not helpful) that my information had been received on 9/25/2015 and that the documents needed to be sent in for a 3rd time. At that point I was just pissed off because I know this 2nd set of documents was perfect and everything that they needed to verify me as requested. She was very rude and would&amp;nbsp;not do anything to help me understand why I've been told for 4 weeks that my documents had&amp;nbsp;not been received. After hanging up with Ms. Rudeness I called them right back to get someone more helpful and willing to actually research my concern. I got a very sweet old lady and she was very helpful. She looked through the notes of each of my applications and stated that the documents had NOT been received yet and that it usually takes a long time depending on the workload. She asked me to hold at least 4 times and came back on the line each time and asked me 3-4 questions to verify my identity. Some of the questions were very weird but I guess I passed the test. Apparently I was denied&amp;nbsp;for both applications and she wasnt sure why I was even informed to send in documentation since the recon dept denied the apps. At the end of this 20 minute call she came back on the line and stated that she re-opened my NFL Rewards application and forwarded it to her manager for Manual Review and to expect a call today. At this point I dont even care anymore but if her manager approves me for this card&amp;nbsp;it would worth the hassle I've gone through since 8/26. LOL!!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>So after noticing I haven't received a call from the "manager" I decided to call in and see what's the update. Here's the kicker: after spending 20 mins on the phone with the nice lady last night, I was told there were no notations made on my account of that conversation. What the flying???????????? I am so disappointed in the service I've received. She said that they could not move forward with my documents and my application is denied. At this point I just want to speak to a supervisor about this crappy customer service. He had a I don't care attitude, apologize for the miscommunication and said that no changes will be made and my application is denied.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Overit.com 😡😡😡😡😡</description>

I missed her call so she sent me an email and even gave me her number with a personal ext. We finally was able to catch each other this morning and she stated that she recived my complaint and&amp;nbsp;found it very unacceptable how the process was handled. She said that she has know someone personally in the security department that has been helping her for years and she has forward her all of my information. She will let me know what happened and how their going to fix it by Friday or early next week. She was very nice and seems like she is going to go the extra mile to at least get to the bottom of this situation. There's still hope &lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here's my recent experience (similar to yours) with Barclays that involved the security department.&amp;nbsp; Note, I was on hold forever and my application was originally denied and then approved by security department.&amp;nbsp; Hope this gives you more hope because it is possible to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat with Barclays.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class="lia-message-heading lia-component-message-header"&gt;&lt;DIV class="lia-quilt-row lia-quilt-row-standard"&gt;&lt;DIV class="lia-quilt-column lia-quilt-column-20 lia-quilt-column-left"&gt;&lt;DIV class="lia-quilt-column-alley lia-quilt-column-alley-left"&gt;&lt;DIV class="lia-message-subject"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Forgive me for I have Sinned (Hawaiian Airlines World Elite)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;As some of you may know that I want to go to Hawaii for vacation next year.&amp;nbsp; Party of 5.&amp;nbsp; This card was calling my name.&amp;nbsp; Very strange application process that I've never experienced with Barclays before.&amp;nbsp; I applied online and received a 30 day pending message that they need to review my application further.&amp;nbsp; Immediately checked application status website and got same message.&amp;nbsp; waited 2 minutes and checked it again.&amp;nbsp; Sadly, this time it said denied blah blah blah.&amp;nbsp; I said let me call backdoor number to see if I could move some from Arrival+ to open card.&amp;nbsp; I got a pleasant woman who said I see that we need to verify some information (I'm like what to myself, the app line said denied).&amp;nbsp; She transfers me to another woman who said she was from security.&amp;nbsp; This person is also very nice.&amp;nbsp; I am a male by the way and I was hoping that I wouldn't get a male because they seem to be very rigid at Barclays.&amp;nbsp; Anyways, she goes through some verification questions and puts me on hold for 16.42 minutes (yes I was looking at my phone's counter the whole time).&amp;nbsp; She comes back and says it looks like you have some fraud activity back in January 2015 whereas you had to change your mother's maiden name on your account to a password, what was that password?&amp;nbsp; I really didn't remember this scenario at all, but I know I use one generic password for all my accounts so I gave it a stab.&amp;nbsp; She comes back immediately and said it looks like I'm going to be able to get this approved for you...&amp;nbsp; She actually paused and I'm like don't keep me waiting now (silently of course).&amp;nbsp; She picks up and says $6,000.&amp;nbsp; No credit reallocation required.&amp;nbsp; Checked online account and Hawaiian card shows up with $6,000 limit.&amp;nbsp; That whole 16.42 minute hold she must have been talking with someone to reverse that denial.&amp;nbsp; I'm going to hawaii.&amp;nbsp; It's my destiny between the Alaska and Hawaii Airlines.&amp;nbsp; I wanted to call and ask for a CLI but I know I'll get a gentleman and he'll say I can do a reallocation which I don't want to do so I better leave it alone.&lt;IMG src="http://fico.i.lithium.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif" border="0" alt="Smiley Very Happy" title="Smiley Very Happy" /&gt;&lt;IMG src="http://fico.i.lithium.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif" border="0" alt="Smiley Very Happy" title="Smiley Very Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;I recently read your story the other day. It seems like all the women I talk to are really nice for some reason. I'm hoping she has good new for me next week. I have one collection left on my credit report and I settled the account. The branch manager agreed to delete the collection and I will be collection free once they inform the credit bureaus&amp;nbsp;to remove.       <description>&lt;P&gt;It's looking like 8k. &amp;nbsp;I have to figure out if I'm using the Hawaiian airlines, Alaska Airlines or United Airlines card. &amp;nbsp; Each would save me money but I can only use one to fly with&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Something silimar happen to me. &amp;nbsp;When I apped online, I was given a pop up with a number to call (fraud prevention or something) and they told me that I needed to 'fax' a copy of my SSN and DL, etc and gave me the fax number and told me that once the info was received, my app would finish processing and that they work them in the order they're received. &amp;nbsp;She told me that it was approved, but until they could verify my personal info, it wouldn't be completed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I faxed the stuff and called in a week later and they had no record of receiving it. &amp;nbsp;She then apologized to me that someone had told me to fax the stuff because the number they gave me wasn't fraud prevention and that I had to mail copies, which I did the next day with tracking. &amp;nbsp;Gave a few days after tracking showed it received and called but they said they still don't show it as 'received' and that sometimes it take awhile for it to show up in the system.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A week later I called and they still didn't show it as received. &amp;nbsp;By then, I was really annoyed and most of all, concerned about identity theft because everything a person needed was in that envelope and I started pointing out how they're suppose to be 'fraud prevention' yet they don't have a clue where the copies of my DL, SSN, etc are at, still 2 weeks after they received it and how did that make them look as fraud protection experts?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also pointed out to him that, since they received those copies, I had applied and received already, a William Sonoma VISA from them and that they either had received my documents already, or they apparently didn't really need them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;He put me on hold for a few minutes and then got back on the line and told me I was approved for the AR and that I would be receiving it in the mail x amount of days, etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
