No one here is going to know that answer. Even Amex might not set a minimum income as it's just part of a credit picture. What income are you trying to see if it's enough?

Thanks. I had to go through a 1 hour talk with the Indian new application customer service center. I have a credit monitoring service and clicked on a servce I didn't fully understand; it had something to do with fraud alert meaning that the creditor would have to verify everything before processing the application. It was very difficult to understand them but the customer rep was really nice. He said he'd send the card to me with 2-3 instead of 7-10 business days because I was patient.

My credit score is 730 EX but yet I received their max APR? I guess I have an average credit score. Not that I ever plan to carry a balance to be concerned about that.

ok cool. hope you got the 250 free after 1k spend in 90 days.

you can still go on amex and apply for a charge card that will go under the same hard inquiry. 50k mr points are up for grabs. 100% xferable to Delta. 2 free plane tickets easily. Card must be paid off monthly. Love mine....

there is no specific answer. as long as you are making something you should be ok i guess. more than 15k imo

It doesn't matter now. I was approved, just diasppointed that I received their max APR with EX 730.

Score is only one part of the underwriting equation.

Silly APR. Never let that stop you from asking for less. After you activate your card go online via chat and request a reduction.

I got my SPG reduced 3 times in less than a month after activation.

Their silly system approved me with a high APR. I knew it wouldn't stay that way…

P.S if your card comes with the 0% promo it won't work until after that's done. And if they say no now wait a few months and try again later.

Idk about the BCE card but my AED card I applied in April with an income of 17k from taking a temporary cut in pay to enjoy my summer. Even got a cli from 3500 to 7000 a month later without even using the card (I initiated it) with the 17k income but now I am back to my regular pay so in December I will be golden for a 3x CLI
