Hyatt verification maybe?

I just apped for the Hyatt and got a message saying to call ASAP and it included the operating hours.

I also got the 30 day email.

Verification maybe? It would be my 9th card in less than 2 years and 7th active.

My wife has 4.

i might be poking the bear a little too hard

30 days is usually much more promising than 7-10 days. Most likely approved pending verification. Definitely call verification dept!

Not enough time has passed since most recent Chase account

The mighty man in credit heaven might be telling me something.
I need another card like I need another hole in my butt.

I think I'll recon the TD app on Monday, then consolidate accounts at years end.

12 months from now might be pretty darn fun.....

Sorry to hear OP. I applied last night too for the Disney. Application line has locked me out No status on application from customer service. They said call lending. I'll pass on that

i was getting greedy and wanted 2 trips paid for next year.

I'll still get it, I'll just have to use the cards I already have.

Geez. way too many threads saying once you get the 30days to not call whatever you do and you would have more than likely been approved. let the computer decide. if they need to verify they will send you a letter. but the key is to call if they say they are transfering you to lending. Hangup. and don't ever call again. Thats exactly how i got my marriot. 2 weeks ago now. i know for sure if i had talked to lending i would have been declined. sorry you listened to the people telling you to call. I would have if i had under 5 new accounts but anything more. no way.

there is more than 1 number for the application status line. you could also call with another phone number instead of your regular phone.

It searches by your ssn so another telephone to call from won't help me but thanks for thinking

i was denied the Amazon before a successful recon.

i got too confident with them

I understand. Bujt when they asked me to be transfered to lending. i did not want to take any chances. seeing how i know i have had 12 approvals since the beginning of the year. so at that point. no way am i talking to a chase rep. which treats the money like their own personal savings. I think they get a bonus if they can deny the hard core card seekers. seeing how the average american has 2-3 cards. any many of us at my fico are in the 20s. as far as number of cards.

It happens. Don't beat yourself up. After my Hyatt 24k I applied for IHG 2 days later and called and was denied. Could possibly have been another 24k approval if I didn't call
