Shocking Cap1 Denial !!!

So I check the Pre Qaul site for cap 1 again this month said pre approved for Venture ( I have already 9/15) Venture one and QS ( I have already 9/15 ) well I wanted the V1 came back Denied got the e-letter today. Denied due to Cap 1 credit limits too high......really oh well that was my last app not applying for anything else. I'm good to rebuild strong now.

Interesting. Sounds like you're either at the max exposure for your profile or they feel as if you have enough credit.

What are the current lines of your other cap one cards?

I would guess your 8/15 BK13 discharge MAY be a factor as well. Give it some time on the 2 Cap1 cards you have.

And, congratulations on a successful 13 discharge! Not everyone gets through it.

They probably feel as tho I have enough credit for now, which is really true was just hoping for a Venture one with 30K...... especially since I dont really use them

QS1 3 years old 4.5K started at 300 secured card didnt turn until May this year, Venture 30K, QS 3K

The recent Bk may be a factor also. I thought I would have proven myself over the last 3 years of on time payments but there was a year I didnt even use it and when I did it was for bills that had to be paid anyway.
