Chase CLI Pending status?

So I requested a CLI on my CSP and it went to pending status. The CSR said that a credit analyst needs to review my request and that I'll be notified within 7-10 business days on the status. Now, is that considered a denial? I wasn't approved nor denied so I don't know. Should I contact them or perhaps a different department so I don't have to patiently wait the 7-10 letter? Thanks guys

To better understand can you tell us how long you have the card for and how often you request for CLI. As far as I know Chase will automatic increase your limit after the 4th billing cycle (in some case, not for everyone) you can also request CLI after the 4th billing cycle.

To answer your question most likely it will denial, but you have to give us more detail.

X days/X-Y days doesn't mean anything other than a review is required. The outcome depends on the findings of the review. If your situation warranted an outright denial then you'd already have the denial.

That said, many find that they have no luck getting requested CLI's from Chase.

You can call if you want but the process needs to run its course. In some cases, calling may help but it really all depends on what they specifically need to review ans whether or not contacting you has any impact on the review. They aren't just sitting on a denial to keep you in suspense for their own amusement.

I called the Credit Analyst department and they just wanted to verify some info and approved the request to $25K!!! Woooooottt! Thanks guys

My CLI request on my CSP went into review too. Called them and answered a few questions they had on my report and why I wanted the increase. After that they instantly gave me my request while on the phone.
