Synchrony you tricky old girl.

So this week I started my Christmas shopping and since I'm always in the market for more credit I decide why not apply for the Amazon Store Card and Walmart. Both place which I will be buying a lot of stuff from in the coming months. Walmart was an instant approval with an 1800 limit. Amazon on the other hand not so much. I got a message to call a number. I called and the lady the picked up, She said it sounded like they just needed some identity questions answered I answered them and she submitted the app. Today I get an email saying I was denied due to them not being able to confirm my identity. What???? I have a Walmart card, Care Credit and a Stash card with them but they can't confirm my identity. I called a number that I found today, it must have been an old number. I got some guy in India that had no clue what I was talking about... Is this a lost cause or should I keep calling? They all ready pulled my credit. Frustrating to say the least.

Absolutely call back. Try 866-519-6441.

Also, try calling about Walmart card for a CLI and then ask about your Amazon application.. see if they can help in the same call.

yes, definitely call back into credit solution, and ask for $10k on your walmart card! They will counter back!

I called Synchrony tonight at 866-519-6441 and they increased my WM from 600 to 3500 and ON from 500 to 3500. Figured I was on a roll so I called again and got the same guy. Tried JCP and he told me to call JCP Customer Service because he had already increased 2 of my cards tonight. Is there a limit or do I need to call during the day when there are more people working! I want to try my SAMS, JCP, AE, and AMAZON.

Does anyone know if I get more than one increase on the same card in the same week? How long do I wait before asking for WM increase again?

Round 1 was a fail.... I called the number for under writing the man that picked up told me my app. looks good and that he would transfer me to the lady that will verify my account info. Great he transfers me. I tell the lady I applied for amazon and walmart at the same time with with my same address and Walmart was an instant approval but Amazon was not and it said I was denied due to them not knowing who I am. She tell's me that's odd fell free to reapply but they will have to pull my credit again. She also told me to check my address with TU and or EQ, she said that is who they pull. I asked her to reconsider my app. She said her department can not do that and I could reapply or call some other department. She put me on hold and after 10 minutes hung up on me.

I'm going to try to call back for round 2 today or tomorrow if I can get off work during banking hours. If I fail again screw them.
