Barclays Arrival Plus Approval

Back in 2014 I was previously denied the Barclay's arrival plus credit card back (when I was still a student) for not enough income. Since then I am now employed with a good and steady income and want to attempt at another application. My credit score is 748 and I currently have a total credit limit of $15k over 2 credit cards. The only thing bringing down my score is my average credit history of 4.7 years due to several recent student loans. I currently have 2 hard inquires on my report and was wondering if it was worth applying and taking another inquiry at this point if there was a risk of being denied. Also if I do get denied, how easy is it in these circumstances to call and ask for reconsideration?

You will have no problem getting approved. 4.7 years AAOA is twice mine at the time and I had about 10 inquiries. Even if you have to ask for reconsideration, you should have no problem whatsoever getting it overturned, but I really think you'll get an instant decision.

I'd be suprised if you get denied by the system, even if you do, you should have no problems what so ever on recon on the slight chance you do. Good luck!!

With that score I think you'll get approved, nothing to worry about.

Barclays pulls TU, so if your TU FICO is in that range you should be fine.
