Are Synchrony VISA/MCs BK friendly?

I am 3 years post BK. I have some synchrony backed store cards but I am not sure if they are BK friendly on major cards I've heard a few people say it was flat out decline for BK.

I'm 3 yrs. post BK as well. All my Synch cards are up to $4-6k but I have not been approved for a Synch Visa/MC. I don't really want one anymore.

I hardly ever see anyone with a Sync VISA/MC who has a BK on file.

No synchrony is not bk friendly when it comes to their VISA/MC products. Although I have not gotten approved for anything sync after my bk. In burned them for 300 on a JC Penney card. I am blacklisted from them.

AHHHH now I know why they gave me the Walmart card for 900 instead of the MC version, duh.... seek and ye shall find. Glad I found that out it has been bugging the Heck out of me

I have the PayPal MasterCard at $1k, ebates $5k, and SAMs MasterCard $8.5k. BK discharged in 2011.

I have Ebates visa, PayPal MC, and Sam's MC. But they didn't give me any love until I was 6 years post-BK on store cards, and 9+ years post-BK on the visa/MC products. Bear in mind that I had quite a few baddies up until this year.

I have a Paypal MasterCard. Bk was discharged in June 2012, approved in May 2015 for 2k no negatives in report other than ch7. Requested increase in early sept auto declined and declined again on the phone. Then surprisingly auto increased to 3k a month later. I also have Walmart 3.5 k 2 year old now, Amazon 6k -7 months old.

It may be a combo of things...

Score + how good rebuild after BK + How far out of BK you are + burn.

Its so hard to tell and know. Some people only burned them for like $300, and can't get in even with a Walmart card for $100cl, and they are 5yrs post BK. Other.s..burned them for a lot..thousands and got back in immediately, and have lots of their cards too.

Also depends on history....I had 4 of their cards prior to my BK, with perfect history dating back to 2005! They let me back in 6 months post BK....the rest is now history!. BUT...I don't have a major with them, only store cards. My TU score isn't high enough yet to qualify. I feel confident though Ill get a major with them in 2-3 yrs though. IDK..Every person is different...

It's different for everyone. I was approved 6 months post bk for Walmart card 1k SL, not bad for a starter, never had Synch cards before and no luck with their Visa/MC so far.

Also depends on which way the wind is blowing on the day you app.
