CapOne QuickSilver Denied

I applied for a CapOne QuickSilver card was denied for "Based on your credit report from Experian, there have been too many recent inquiries". Is there anyway I can fight this? The notice says my credit score is 711.

Yes, I have one Student Journey Card and apparently the Kohls store card is by CapOne as well.

How many INQ?

What is your limit on the existing cards? How long have you had the Cap One cards?

That's interesting because your score it a little better than mine. Now, I don't have many recent inquiries but I do have 3 cards with Cap 1. I have (2) OuickSilver's and the PlayStation card. I keep my limited at $0 on one of the QS and the PlayStation card and I carry just 1% on my other QS card. If you decide to call please post your experience as I'd be interested in knowing what their limit is on inquiries as I do plan to apply for the Venture card probably right out of the gate in 2016.

What do you mean fight? No. its their choice. But you can ask for reconsideration. or (recon in short).

EQ: 8 (Before CapOne app: 7)
EX: 6 (Before CapOne app: 4)
TU: 3 (Before CapOne app: 2)

Kohls/$300/Since April
Journey/$2000/Since May

And yes by fight, I mean recon. Not sure how to go about that tho (or if I stand any chance)

So, you have two credit cards from 13 INQ? That proportion does seem like a lot.

The Journey hasn't aged long enough, most likely. Are you using the card regularly and paying in full?
