Credit Monitoring Showing Lowe's Accont

I checked my Credit Monitoring Servce and it shows a new account from Lowe's.

I had applied mid October and only received an email with Application

number and nothing else. No info on status or welcoming me etc.

I had forgotten about it thinking I didn't get it.

Is is this unusual? I am not sure if it is an approval or not?

Has anyone had an experience like this?

I tried calling but couldn't find right number to help with app status.

It was just for customers with their cc number which of course I dont

have (yet) (hopefully..)

Thanks for the number but no they dont have the APP STATUS option on there.

No problem call and stay on the line, sometimes if you hit the wrong thing enough times it will just say transferring to rep. if it's showing a new account not an inquiry on your credit report, they may have you pending approved but need more information especially if it's a live acccount but you didn't get the card in the mail and it's been over 2 weeks from the date you did the applicaiton.

Happened to me with the BR store card. Had no idea I was approved until I pulled my reports one night while bored, and noticed it on there! I called in quickly, and sure enough they approved me. I have since then closed the card though.

UPDATE NOV 3 - Called and automated credit center confirmed account = $300.00

Should I call UW now for possible CLI?? I don't even have the account number yet.

Maybe with my numbers I should be thankful just to get in.

My Fico is 655. High INQ'S - 34% util.

Call and ask for a $25K CLI. They will recon with your true limit at this time.

My TU FICO was only a little bit higher than yours and I got $5k. I hear that below 680 TU, they won't give more than $12k.
