Chase follow up on apps??

I know the topic has been beat to death.

1. Don't call

2. be patient

3. see # 1

But I'm growing impatient.

I apped on Oct 9th. Freedom (prequal), CSP and Marriot.

I got the Marriott.

No correspondence on the other two. No denial. No nothing.

At app time system said "acknowledge receipt of app" **bleep**???

Automated system says I was approved but only lists out Marriott info.

Pre-Qual site still shows I'm PQ'd on Freedom.

Do I call??? I'm running out of time to squeeze in a review on the 30day pull.

Do u have a lot of new cards? Applying for three Chase cards in a Month is usually risky especially their main cards.

yes I do, yes I know, I apped for Chase first.

1. Marriot

2. Freedom

3. CSP

In that order.....

Got the Marriott which is really what I wanted. Just don't want to ignore the Freedom if it was and still is a Pre-Qual for me.

I don't care about the CSP and with all the new accts I imagine I'll have to wait at least 24months to see if I even still want it then.

call verification. safest way to 'gauge' where you're at. if they're going to transfer you to lending then be worried. hang up or find out now since you're on a time crunch now.

Finally called verification and they said......YOU NEVER APPLIED FOR ANY OTHER CARDS OTHER THAN MARRIOTT.

Complete bogus BS.....and now that I've sucessfully opened up other accts I'll be stuck out for re-apping for at least 2yrs.

Not even sure how to express my frustration with their incapacity to allow me to abuse their apping system.

sucks.

Freedom still shows up as pre-qual'd. ...just not sure it's even worth it to try and then get possibly denied due to recent CL's or end up with their lowest possible SL.

I have 7 new CL's within the last 2yrs.

5 within the last 30days.

3 out of the 5 new ones have reported.

so I think it could possibly be showing 5 new accounts within the last 24months.

But they aren't all reporting to all bureaus.

Could be why Freedom is still showing pre-qual'd.

no other sites are giving me pre-qual's anymore. I've already met my spend for all new cards.

Just pulled the trigger on the pre-qual and got approved for $5500.

Only feel slightly better....wish I could have gotten that CSP instead....for sure now I'm stuck out for 24mths.

I'm guessing their system dump the second and third applications. It's happened to people before I think. It's hard to pull three approvals out of them in a 30 days period but some of us have. Which of the new cards are reporting and on what CRB's? What did they pull for you for the Marriott? If you can get that Freedom app back in then I'd say go for it and quickly before anything else reports.

marriott reported to all three

Venture reported to EQ and EX

BCE reported to EQ

Still un reported are Citi, Disc and my Amex Plat These were all done about 15days ago though. The others were done on 10/9.

Must have been typing my response when you updated that you pulled the trigger again on the Freedom. Congrats!! Glad you got it in and got approved. I'll let others advise but maybe you can give the CSP a shot too before anything else reports if you want to chance it. I'd love the CSP/Freedom combo but by the time my score got in the right range I had well over 5 new accounts so I'm out in the cold until Oct 2017 for those. On the other hand Chase is showing me all sorts of love for their co-branded stuff got my thrid 15k approval today. Congrats on the Freedom and use it well!!

Thanks for the advice.... Went ahead and pulled on CSP just in case I could squeeze it thru the cracks but got a 7-10day response.

obviously that was a Hail Mary attempt.
