Call from Capital One EO

Got a call in response to an email I sent to Capital One's CEO last week. I wrote to them explaining why I was dissappointed that I was denied for the Quicksilver card mentioning that I had a previous account with them that I closed because it wasn't growing with me and that I am trying to start developing a relationship with them again. The lady verified my identity and asked the basic income questions and said it would be sent to an underwriter for reconsideration. Hopefully this works!

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Yeah, I did it for both of my Cap1 Quick Silver and silver 1. When I reached CL of $1500, they wouldn't give me a higher CL. I emai them and got the call and got bumped to $3500 and $4k. 6 months later I sent another email and got denied. A third email (very fustrated) and got approved for $5000 and $5500. Funny thing is, I applied for the cap1 venture and got approved right away for $15k...they're weird.

Many people have had success with the EO. Not me, though. Every request I've made through them has been denied. But keep your hopes up and let us know how it goes. Good luck!

i have the old one but its from a few years ago and wanted to know if it was still active

i tried calling capital one and got nowhere maybe an email would be better

Good luck op! The capitalone EO has been very good to be with existing accounts. I have never had experience with them on a declined application, but they seem to be very helpful and understanding and also want to work with you. I say you have a 50/50.

I called today to check the status of the app. I got transfered to a rep and she said I needed to provide proof of income. Hopefully once I fax that in I will get approved!

I just sent an email this morning myself requesting a credit limit increase. I have lots of trips to go on and some big purchases to make! I would rather not use my debit card. I need the rewards!!

You can google the EO email and someone will call you back with 72 hours. I just got a recon approval for $300. Although I'm not happy with the starting line, I was going in with a fight refuse not to come out with some type of credit line. My next one will be venture.

You can google the email address. I always google everything and it's normally there..
