Synchrony MC/Visa direct apps?

Are there any other Synchrony Visa or MC's you can app for directly other than the Chevron/Texaco and Stash CC's? I know there are a few that will upgrade you but I want to app directly if possible.

Yep. Ebates as stated. Bp visa. Sams Club. Walmart, Damn the list is extensive. Jc penny. Tj max.

Paypal. etc......

Taxi the WM, JCP, ON, BR, etc are not gauranteed to be a major cards like Ebates, Chevron, are. That gives me a good group. Thanks. I don't want to app and get the store card.

Chevron isn't guaranteed to be a major either. They counter with the store card if you don't qualify for the visa. That's why I'm confused about what OP means by app directly

Good one deebee. Of course your credit has to be strong enough. Put it like this. If you can get the ebates. Which is their toughest. Then you can easily get any if the others. Ebates could not get until I was well over 720. Then the others are simple. If you can't get ebates. Don't waste your time with the others as I will not happen.

I applied for ebates and sams club apps back to back.

instantly approved for Ebates Visa and then approved Sams Club Store Card. While I am a fan of synch bank cards, im not a fan of their blind app for store card or visa/mc.

they have let me down in the past.

Agree with other posters on possibly getting just the store card and not wanting to be stuck with another one.

This weekend my TU went 100% clean (after bout 10 years) so apped for 2 cards...Stash and Ebates.

Stash approved at 4K and Ebates at 3200.

Not sure what my TU fico is yet, but Fako with credit karma bumped to 687...so possibly they loosened up on the 700 to 720 range on the Ebates card. Granted it was not instant on either card, I had to call in for verification.

If you can swallow two inquiries I would try the Chevron or BP card first to test the waters before the Ebates. If your approved for the fuel card you can use it to continue to build good history with that bank.

I already had 5 years of history with 3 different fuel cards and JCPenney so I think I was a shoo-in for the Ebates this summer

You're right DeeBee. I apped for the Major and was approved for $500. They sent the Gas card :-(. Oh well....back to the garden.

Same thing happened to me. App'd for the VISA and got the gas card. As a consolation prize, call up credit solutions and get a CLI. Ask for at least a couple of thousand.

I'm using the card heavy, hoping for a VISA upgrade on it within a year. If I don't get it, I'll close it. My car takes premium, so I get better cashback using QS1 or Freedom at the pump than I do with their 3 cent per gallon rebate.
