FRN Mastercard Verification

Apped for the FRN MC a couple of weeks ago and got the 7-10 day response. Got a letter today saying they needed to talk to me to verify somthing.......didn't say what....called the number in letter and got message that all reps are busy.......held for extended period of time and still no answer. Anybody have this "verification" experience before, what are they looking for and is this a tentative approval.

I'm sure they will ask public record questions. If you answer the questions correctly it is more likely than not that you will be approved. Did you apply for multiple Comenity cards in a short period of time?

No apps for multiple cards........did ask for CLI on Total Rewards Visa which is at 11.5K.......it was declined because of CLI 3 mos ago.

I've gotten those verification letters on two of my apps from Comenity. The first one was for True Value Discover. Answered a couple public recordcredit report questions to verify identity and they then processed the app and I was approved. The other one was just a week or two ago for BJ's Mastercard app. Was on hold for about 20 minutes before I got someone then it was just a couple questions and approved for my largest CL that Comenity has given me. It's likely an approval once they verify.

does anybody know if this verification ofc is open on week-ends .....I get the message "all reps are assisting other customers, please wait" I have held for up to 20 minutes, the message repeats itself about every thirty secs

Ooops.....guess what....they came on the line this time, asked a few questions including what my Zodiac sign was and BAM got 6K approval......that gives me 17.5K with Comenity.....maybe they don't hate me
