Anyone apply for Barclay Cash Forward Card???

Considering applying for cash forward and was wondering what the approvals have been like.
Did a search and wasn't getting any results for this card, other than the one post with the denial.
Need a BT card and since I got a great approval on my LL Bean, I thought it might be worth while.
If any what were score at approval and what cl did you get. Thanks

thelethargicage did less than a week ago. He left it without "special mention" in his most recent approval thread as the "namless card".

I think in his case, given his other assortment of perfectly balanced cards and recent approvals (BBR and Cash+), he figured he was going to get some slack for taking the plunge on the CashForward. But, as you know, different cards work for a variety of people. There was a big thread (which I'm sure you've read) detailing some aspects of the card, but outside of him posting the "silent" approval, I haven't seen any others who have gone for it (yet).

Thanks, that makes more sense now. I'm guessing it may have helped at least a few others appreciate the earlier posts as well. Now, I am curious about his screen name

I just received a notification regarding a new Barclay CC and thought I would share. It looks like it was publicly shared last week. Has anyone else heard of this or applied for it? I'm thinking I'll go for it whenever I come out of the Garden.

$1.5k but I'm not surprised with the low limit since I have several inquiries (20+) and new accounts this year (6+). Honestly, once I clicked submit I was expecting a denial.

So far it looks like 1 descent approval.
This card to me is exciting because of a year of 0% bt and purchase. I know its a little bleh but heck it's a transunion puller and those with good tu scores and income will like it.
No triple pull,its tu pull and barclay can be decent to work with and does sp cli. So if you can get a decent sl you can do a bt plus put your monthly spend on it and have a year to pay off the bt.
But barclay can be finicky also. New card,may not necessarily mean good sl and might frown upon big bt being put on the card.

I agree that more info for this card would be useful. I'm glad you mentioned good income, because I think that's a factor that may be grossly unerappreciated on these boards. What would you classify as good income, in relation to that post though? It's pretty ambiguous for many of us lol. Thanks

Not sure what Barclay would consider a good income but I make right at 52000 a year and hope thats enough to get something decent from them if I do decide to apply for this card anyway. Not anywhere near a 6 digit income,sorry to say.

Thanks, I just have no idea what people mean when they say good income these days. It's very subjective!

I'm also curious how the income of folks here(at least those with the cajones to be sharing everything) rates vs the national average. I think it's something that the lurkers reading many of the posts on here need to be mindful of. I think I may be speaking from experience! It's not something I thought much about when reading so little about in the data points on here, but I am campaigning to make sure those who may not have given it much thought(like myself) in relation to scores, start to do so when considering applying. Thanks again, I value all opinions(even disagreements) on these type of matters, so that folks can make informed decisions. These forums are a gem, and I think we all can add to their luster.
