I didn't think Huntington exclusively pulled EQ. I know they tend to pull EQ and TU on occasion. For my second card they pulled TU (plus EQ).

So I applied today using my old address and of course now it's a department wondering why the addresses are not matching up.

I was able to update my address online to reflect the new CA address where the pre-approval came to originally and I tried calling in but was told that despite having an account, I would not be able to apply for a credit card outside of any state touching OH and that the pre-approval coming to CA address is just an error and if the app goes through with my old address then I can probably get it and be lucky but not if I want to process it through with the current CA address (that confuse anyone else?!)

They pulled TU for data point.

I'm done with it, if it approves and I can somehow get it then fine, otherwise... ill just consider my partner lucky with his!

That is interesting. I have one of the preapproval letters from them in hand. If I could get them to pull TU maybe I'd give it a shot since I only have 5 INQ's there since I was fighting an incorrect med CA that I just got removed. But I think hear on the east coast they would pull EQ and would like my INQ's there.

Isn't that funny if they can't serve anywhere but the East Coast but yet pull inquiries based on geographic location
