For anyone that has a cabelas club visa, how long did it take to receive your card and welcome packet after you were approved?

For me it took about 14 days after approval but Thanksgiving weekend may have slowed down delivery.

My DW and I both have cards. One took about 12 days and the other about 14-15.

It took over a month to get my welcome packet (I didn't even know I was approved because the app timed out) and another 10-12 days to get the card.

They're not a large bank. They probably wait until the have a bunch of cards to print, then batch all of them at once.

Cabela's actually owns the bank that issues their card (World's Formost National Bank). It usually takes two weeks (14 days), but I have seen others state up to 30 days. By the way a CLI request with them is always a HP, and do not request one until your account is six months old as it will pretty much be an auto decline. They also base CLI's on usuage, utilization, and payment history. So for best chances of a CLI with them be sure to run a large amount through the card and PIF before the statement cuts.

What types of credit limits are you guys getting? I was just approved for it on Friday, and am curious as to what mine might be.

I was approved last Thursday @ 1K. Call the customer service line. They'll tell you what your limit is. You may have to wait 16 minutes like I did before you get someone, but they should be able to help you!

I was approved at 1.5K. I waited foreevvvvverrr but he csr had no issues with telling me my limit

they pulled Ex and EQ for me. EQ fico was 720 and EX Fico was 726. 7k limit still waiting on my card it's been 2 weeks.

Cabelas is very slow with card delivery...if memory serves me right, it was about 2 1/2 weeks before my card arrived.
