DW because of her "little" problem that is now 8 years old has to take two Rx. At one time they both tier 2 with any body. Now they run from tier&nbsp; 2 to tier 4 depending onthe insurance.&nbsp; My biggest pet peave is Walgreens. 1) we use the 24 hour&nbsp; one even though its further away&nbsp; &nbsp;The line is always 30 minutes inside and drive trhough.&nbsp; 2) Their tech put Good Rx on one of DW Rx so it did not count toward insurance.&nbsp; They would not fix it.&nbsp; &nbsp;Their tech cost us over $500 extra in out of pocket&nbsp; 3) For some reason with current insurance mail orer is higher than Walgreens and 4) Walmart pharmacy is not even on the approved list and its easiest to get to .&nbsp;&nbsp;</P><HR /></BLOCKQUOTE><P>I am fortunate that diazepam is ridiculously cheap. Even if I didn't have prescription coverage, it would cost me $6 with GoodRX for 60 2mg tablets a month. Formulary restrictions actually saved me from my psychiatrist being able to experiment even further on me with Saphris and Latuda -- they're atypical antipsychotics, a class I generally don't get along with at all (Zyprexa actually makes me hallucinate, dilated pupils and all, which is incredibly odd and all of the ones I have had except Geodon cause tachycardia). We deduced from my list of drugs that I have had heart issues with that it's only ones that have muscarinic affinity that cause me to have tachycardia and Saphris and Latuda apparently have next to none. I was totally against the idea but my psychiatrist was pushing them on me until she looked up the formulary and realized that I would be paying $400 a month for Saphris and $2K for Latuda. That's when she relented and let me go by with just Valium.&nbsp;<BR /><BR /></P><P>I don't like Walgreens. I actually probably will never use Walgreens pharmacy again. It doesn't surprise me at all that they refused to fix their mistake but I certainly would not have paid for it either.&nbsp;<BR /><BR /></P><P>Other than one employee at King Soopers who is a racist and has come after two of my personal care assistants despite notes saying that I will be sending them to pick up my meds, I haven't had any other problems since I switched after I ended up in the ER in full-blown withdrawal from the last batch of Mylan diazepam they gave me in early 2013. King Soopers has had Teva generics the entire time and that's one of two generics I put on the same level as Roche V-cuts, the other being Watson.&nbsp;<BR /><BR /></P><P>I really am fine with Original Medicare since I have UHC for my prescription drug plan but the $200 towards glasses, free eye exam, and $2K towards dental are features wouldn't mind having -- there is even an over the counter allowance of $170 per quarter.
