Finally NFCU CLOC APPROVED!

Applied 4 times since membership opened in July 2016, finally got an approval today .. only asked $5000... BK 7 discharged 12/2015... does anyone know how I can send in the documents online??

Congrats to you, kobe! Hubby sent his two documents by scanning them, and then by email. Worked perfectly.

Congrats Kobe , my fiance and I plan to app for it also again in the next week . I think we will only ask for 5k maybe 7 but not max, my fiancé was denied the first try back I'm July and we haven't tried again since then . Do you mind sharing your data pts ?

Thanks guys!!! My utilization is @22% ..I have low limit cards... 24 inquiries on EQ... I think 7 or 8 from NFCU ... equifax myfico score is @649 ... I'm hoping for a cli on my cash rewards .. still sitting @$500.. maybe like 5 or 6 new accounts in 5 months

Thanks Kobe that gives me hope , I was denied CLI in Nov , my card is still at 500 SL too , my profile is now clean compared to what it was when approved but my scores seem to be stuck around 650s . Same for my fiancé , we never had BK though, I think alot of the reason they are not approving me for a CLI is bc I'm a Stay at home mom, so I use my household income which is my Fiance's , we have several joint accts together so I can prove it also . IDK i have kinda given up on them

Don't lose hope, you'll get an approval soon! Are you applying for cli after the AR ?

Yes im gonna try to , gonna wait for all my balances to report which will be around the 10th of Jan for the most part . That will be my 6th statement cut on Jan 5th so I will try again , just very hesitant bc I don't want another HP for nothing 😕

You can't on their CLOC, it's not set up yet for online signature. You have to wait for the papers to come in the mail, then you can fax or email after signing.

Have you read any of the NFCU threads on MyFico? YES ASK FOR THE MAX... they will counter... (though please read the threads before doing so...things do change)

Hey J, I have cancelled creditone last week.. they actually talked me into keeping it.. I closed it .. milestone will be next, it will hit one year in May so I'd close it by April.. merrick will hit one year also in May, I'd like to keep it since the limit is not so bad but the annual fee is not worth it ... hopefully I'd get an increase on my navy and capital one by then so it won't hurt my utilization.. I'm planning to keep just those two cards ... navy has not shown any love , 6 months, still sitting @$500.. pif each month .. keeps declining due to my one year old bk... thanks for the advice !!
