topic Business checking advice? in Personal Finance

Hello, Hope everyone had a good weekend. I've been thinking about opening up a business checking account, but I'm not really sure if that's a good idea or not. I have some rental properties. All the maintenance, mortgages, taxes, and whatever bills I have from those properties, I've been paying it through my personal checking account. I kind of want to start separating expenses. I'm thinking of opening it up at NFCU. I won't be using the business checking for anything else other than paying bills related to the property and/or rent deposits. Is that a good enough reason to open one up? Would income and tax reporting be any different? I'm a sole proprietor. I've done a little reading and it seems like nothing will change. Just wanted to see if anyone here have any experience with it. Thanks!
