CapOne 360 Money Market Discontinued and Replaced

I just noticed that my 360 Money Market account rate was knocked down to 1.5% APY without notice. The Capital One website no longer shows the 360 Money Market, instead, there is a 360 Performance Savings with 1.8% APY and no $10k minimum to earn that rate.

The removal of $10,000 minimum should help them get and keep more customers. All of the high yield savings accounts have been coming down every couple of months. None are where they were 6-12 months ago !. A 1.8% APY is not bad, about average for high yield accounts at this time. It is never nice to see interest rates lowered however it is not just Capitol One 360.
