Update: Approved USBank Line of Credit

Anyone have the regular line of credit with UsBank?
When I called in I was told I was preapproved for a Personal Line of Creidt. I have he Reserve Line but never use it.
I guess I have to go to a branch or I have to call the Financial center M-F.

Just curious if I should buy on this one.

Any info on what it entails Dj? Would it be a hp? Do you need it?. Ive heard its nice to have a ploc but have never had one snd i have zero experience with USBank. I think if you can get it sp go for it . Another tool in your relationship toolbox

About the preapproved thing. Does US Bank pull a hard when you are preapproved? Last time
I had one was when I opened a checking and it was only one pull for both.
I probably would bite-you get a Visa with it and checks-and currently only 11.24% which would be my lowest that isn't a special time of 0%.

Plus US Bank loves me but I do have a ton of TU INQs. A ton! I mean-I don't even post how many I have because it is embarrassing. Lol.

I've heard that pre-approved offers from them are usually a SP. I know that they pull EQ for LOC products though. Let us know if you bite on the offer!

Update: I did it. Instant approval for $15k. Apr 11.24% Apr. comes with a Visa And checks. (Weird it comes with a visa IMO)
Soft Pull on TU
Highest limit of mine on anything. Next would be my
Huntington MC at 11k.
Very happy I did it.

Also... they used the same soft pull and increased my Cash+ by another 3k. double happy.

I love US Bank! Always have. Once you get a few accounts with them the conservativeness goes away.

This is a duplicate post I think. My other one that was posted before I applied got moved. I wanted to post here in case someone only looks at this section of the forums.

Was preapproved when I called in for something else.
Applied. Soft pull on TU only.
Instant Approvals $15k
Highest limit of any of my cards or lines
FICO is 774 according to them- not sure what version they used.
Have a TON-a GINORMOUS amount-on INQs on TU
Utilization is anywhere between 0-1%
APR of 11% (my other post said 11.24 but I was wrong-it is 11%V)
Comes with a Visa and Checks
Anything else-just ask.

Love USBank! They are by far my favorite Bank. Once you have a 3-6 mo relationship with them and have a couple accounts they really love that and will approve and give out Preapprovals like mad. My first card I got on Recon-$500 limit. Now I have 6 deposit accounts, a Reserve LOC, Premier LOC, FlexPerks Visa, and a Cash+ Visa

Bonus was they used the same soft pull to give me another CLI on my Cash+ card of $3000 more.

Congrats on your approval but....It was moved because that's where posts about lines of credit are placed. Please don't try to post in a different forum and create a second thread just because you think more people will see it. This one is going to be merged with your other post.

Irish-Sorry. I was confused once I changed the title to Approved. Seen lots of LOC approvals in here so that's where I thought it was supposed to go. Wasn't posting it "to make more people see it" -I was trying to do the right thing. Thought you originally moved it because it wasn't an approval nor an application. Didn't know you moved it for that reason, but it certainly wasn't for the reason you thought. I assumed people looked in approvals to get help, DPs, and do research-not to congratulate people

No problem, it happens and it's not that that big of a deal and I apologize for misinterpreting your reason. I did move it earlier. As for threads on LOCs in CC Approvals, we do our best to move them as we see them or they are reported but some are missed.

Thx Aduke. Sometimes it doesn't have it. For instance this time I called in to close one of my savings and I asked and had the Premier Line PreApproval. It didn't tell me on the site. So it doesn't hurt to call once every mo. or two and ask either.

Aduke.... 1 more thing...You can always ask if you have any soft pull CLI's avail. If you don't they will offer to send you to UW so you can ask them if they would be willing to use their last SP. I have never been told no on that the 3 times I asked, and 2/3 were approved.

1) What's the difference between a Cash Advance and a Cash Equivalent Advance?
2) Does the due date change each month based on when you take the advance?
3) Is the Visa Card given just for ATM Advances or can you use it as a Credit Card?

4) What's the difference between the Premier Line of Credit and the Premier Line Plus?

The T&C I am reading seem to be missing a lot.

US Bank offers the "Reserve Line of Credit" and "Premier Plus Line of Credit" (PPLOC) which sometines is referred to as a Premier Line of Credit (same exact thing). Reserve Line of Credit is $500 to $5,000 credit limit and is directly attached to a checking account (overdraft protection). The Premier Line of Credit is a stand alone credit product of $5,000 to $15,000 (although they more go higher) credit limit that has it's own checks, credit card (Visa) that can be an ATM Card or use it like any other credit card along with the ability to link the Premier Line to a checking account at US Bank if you desire as overdraft or in the event you want to transfer some money into your checking account. Very flexible and the interest starts running the minute $0.01 cents hits the PPLOC. In order to have the PPLOC you have to be a customer of US Bank and have a checking account. US Bank has an internal "Customer Relations Score" that they use in awarding the products. Generally, they look for 6 to 12 months of a relationship to obtain the PPLOC. As to due dates, they assign the date at the time the account is opened, I requested a change to the date and was denied but that was several years ago (times may have changed this).

Thx. I have both the Reserve and the Premier. I was confused because on their website it never says "plus" yet when it showed up online it was called Plus. Thought maybe it was like Visa and Visa Sig. since I got a high limit (tho had no clue I got the max)

The US Bank Premier Plus Line of Credit offers the Platinum Visa Credit Card that uses the line of credit like a credit card limit. Note, it is not connected with any rewards or offers for such. Also note, the PPLOC is set up at a lower rate of interest than most credit cards (a plain jane credit card for a lower interest rate). Many other lenders do not offer the credit card, checks, stand alone account status or the optional ability to connect directly to a checking account. Use all the options with mine.
