Just logged into check my accounts, and on the sidebar it read:Alliant Savings accounts jump to 1.11% on July 01 2017

Wow glad I just joined them, amazing savings rates just got better!!!

Oh yeah? I just joined in June at 1.05% and thought that was really good.

What were they before?

It was 1.00% APY when I got my account back in around January. It's nice to see increases because none of the local credit unions, in my area, are increasing their interest rates; still at .05% APY. They're mostly cutting back on stuff. No more free keureg coffee and the customer service is subpar depending on the branch. The thing I do is use their ATMs for alliant transactions.

Just got an email from them about the increase of savings rate, the combo of good savings rate and a very solid interest checking account rate. makes alliant my goto CU

Yeah when i logged in i saw now it is 1.11% apy on Alliant cu webite. However i am also a member of consumers cu IL. And they currently have rewards checking at 3.09% apy.
