Redstone FCU - Where is the ACH transfer setup?

I recently joined Redstone Federal Credit Union and have finally gotten around to setting up ACH transfers to/from my other FI's. Only problem is, I can't seem to find, anywhere on their website/in their Android App, a place to set them up.

Is anyone who has been a member for a while able to help me out?

I've only set up external ACH accounts.

So I can push and pull from the outside.

Probably going to be forced to call them. As I haven't seen a way to set this up either.

I figured at the beginning, it was a security thing.

But checking just now, I still don't see the option. It has the link, but nothing in that link to initiate a external destination.

Sorry, I don't have Redstone so I can't help. Their website says that they offer PopMoney and there is no charge for a standard speed transfer, maybe look into that. It's a P2P transfer service like Zelle that uses ACH.

If you have a Redstone debit card, you can just get Google Pay and instantly transfer up to $2500 between that debit card and another debit card with two separate Gmail addresses. Pretty easy to do.

You know, I have no idea. I would think the nature of P2P being meant to be sending money to a friend or family member that recurring transactions would be uncommon. Like I used Zelle this evening from my US Bank checking to pay my roommate for picking me up dinner when they went out to Breakfast King for dinner.

Managing a bunch of deposit accounts gets annoying with the various ACH implementations and using a hub account like Alliant or Discover adds an intermediary step.

ETA: I just checked and both PopMoney and Zelle offer recurring transactions up to the transaction limits of the FI.

I just checked again. Redstone only allows you to add an external account to pay a loan or credit card. They don't have ACH transfers available for any deposit accounts. You can use PopMoney and Zelle instead.

I use the ACH transfer from SCSCU to Redstone and it usually credits the next day.

what did you finally figure out?

I tried to iniate a ACH from NFCU but its for checking only , so I just set a checking account w/redstone.

It seems that, at this time, Redstone ACH transfers can only be initiated from the other institution. If you want to initiate a transfer from within redstone, you have to use Popmoney instead of ACH.
