going to open a Gold Checking since I already have a Cash+. 2K of DD in 60 days is easy and might make it easier to get a 2nd Cash+ and CLIs(SP).

I might have to open a 17th bank account (okay, maybe 6th?) now to get that.

If you can, get the Because You've Earned It discount too, then it's no fees regardless.

I did this (sorta) and it was cake!

ACH from CHASE Checking reads as DD. Opened a checking (since now I have a way in with investment for USB) was approved, did the ACH requirements and in a few weeks I got the $300. I wish BBVA and BOA's bonus was that easy. with BOA I am still waiting since April to get a $100. Still waiting on BBVA too, though not as long.

Day late and a dollar short, I just did the BBVA offer for $200. I think Three bank accounts is enough for me. I guess we might make it four if I eventually get added as a joint on my wife's BoA account, we just haven't bothered with it, these days it is so easy just to Zelle the money from her account to mine and vise-versa.

Technically no because they're supposed to be direct deposits of paychecks, social security payments, etc. but an ACH transfer pushed from another FI that codes them coded correctly is seen as a direct deposit. You already have a dp here that an ACH transfer from Chase works.
