Merrill Edge Question

Hey everyone,

Late last week I opened a M.E. account and funded it by Tuesday (9/15). For some reason this cash is showing as deposited but not avalible to trade; is there a new account hold and if so how long is that? Will it be on all of my transfers for a while or just this first one? Also I'm confused because the account is named CMA-Edge, does this mean that it is a cash managment and brokerage account put together?

@ToxikPH, Pretty standard for M.E, to do everything slow, it is Bank of America.

I cannot remember about the new account hold, just don't expect fast. (I much prefer Charles Schwab)
