Meet Tally Approved!

Have been looking at Meet Tally for a while as a stop gap to reduce revolving UTI with a hidden trade line.

Applied today and approved for 6k @Anonymous.74%

Not the best APR, but lower than the one card I added to pay through the app with my highest UTI (REI WEMC 7320/9500 81%UTI 19.99% APR)

Brings my Aggregate UTI from 41% to 26% and individual UTI down to 15%.

My Equifax Fico9 was a devilish 666.

Thank you @Credit4Growth ! I will definitely update on that. The only reports I've had of Meet Tally not being a hidden trade line were for the state of CA. Hoping that is still the case!

Congrats on the approval!! Hopefully the pay down and hidden TL have a noticeable improvement on scores. Since utilization penalty recovers immediately when paid down.

My experience with Tally was one HP on Experian if i recall... but the TL did not report...

They usually dont give out high CLs ... but I found it useful even now...

Can you keep the credit cards open and can you apply for other credit cards while using Tally?

Yes you can...

And you can choose cards to pay down and leave alone, and even if they have an offer better than Tallys.... you just have to be careful when enrolling your cards if you dont want them to put it on the LOC...

Thank you, I"m going to do it as long as i can keep the cards open and apply for other cards.

So far no HP has reported, but I will keep an eye out just in case! Their language made it seem that it was a soft pull only. I made sure to just add the one card I wanted them to pay and promptly turned off their Tally Pays feature afterwards.

It may now be a SP only.. Got the LOC early on when they first started accepting apps... It sounded interesting.... Consider it a LOC not a card.. because it isnt physical... And you really cant use it like a CC, A lot of what Tally is automatic.... Even with the autotransfer to LOC turned off.. proportedly they will still make the minimums on enrolled cards even if you forget to... Also believe there is an invisible "buffer" since they were mentioning that they will even make min payments for linked cards even if your maxxed out on your tally account as long as you keep making the required payment min payment amount to Tally...

Tally isnt a consolodation loan, its more like a consolodation Line of Credit... you don't have to close your cards.... really should read their website....

Not surprised.... tally tends to be slightly fickle on approvals... They seem to want folks who have gotten further along in their credit building or rebuilding... You seldom see large lines with them, although it is hidden at least for some... Ever consider joining the folks in the garden?

You really should go back and read your numerous threads that you start. . All the advice given you just don't seem to use.
