How about both? Maybe add DCU to the list? The more the merrier?

I'm thinking of finally joining a CU. Auto loan possibilities for the future could be nice. I know many here ( @AverageJoesCredit ) have strong opinions. Between these two, which should I attempt?

Another thing: I know about PenFed's love of EQ, but what about Langley?

If looking for an auto loan better options than the two above mentioned... DCU is very competitive I am with Redstone as well and rates are as low as 1.7% apr for 60 months, etc although capped on max 50k auto loan although not sure if that is a factor for you... Just do a bit of research as PenFed isnt as competitive as it use to be and Langley is meh imho and can beat their rates as well

As nice as Langley has been for me suprisingly i like Penfeds website much better. Langley on mobile is so bleh and hard to find things without really looking unlike PF where i like how its much easier to navigate. Im not sure on Auto loans as im too poor to get a new car but as stated having options is good. Who woulda thunk i would say i like Pendr..Fed

Penfed blows Langley's cards away. The PCR is the best 2% card around if you fulfill the $500 deposit/balance requirement on their checking account each month. Meanwhile Langley is pushing their Quint card - with a whopping 1% cash back on 5 categories. 🤷‍♂️

Langley has a crappy app and website experience too.

They do have a low rate PLOC that can be as low as 7.25%.

Lol, as much as @CreditCuriosity and @Anonymous dont like Langley lol, i have to disagree abit that the ccs blow away Langley . Yes they probably are better but at least with Langley you have a decent shot at getting a real low apr whereas most people, even high credit scorers end up with the higher apr ranges on most of PF cards. Its hard to actually pull off PFs adverstised lowest apr.

My experience is miniscule in comparison to most so i may be wrong. But with Langley ive gotten a sub 9% apr and a sub 8% loc on average credit. One actual auto increase on my cc, 2 actual months where i didnt even have to make a cc payment.

I agree with @Anonymous about their website, it is annoying as fico but livable . I put in a app for second PF tonight so if approved will be first time having two from them whereas Langley only allows me one, i guess due to low income. Go for both Pinkie, better to have options lol.

Langley annoys me just cause of they wont approve me despite scores they look for excuses to deny so over them. Obviosuly they know their cards wouldnt be used with me ..
