Citizens Bank Pre-Qual Loan Mail offer

I received a prequalification loan offer for up to $50K. Of course the offer sounds good. Fixed rates as low as 4.99% with all avaialble discounts. I've read mixed reviews about the bank online. Any feedback on this?

My sister had a checking account with Citizens also known RBS I believe anyway, account was never overdrawn in good standing. She went to pay a bill and ended up with a bounced check because Citizens charged her a fee for a checking account they told her at the branch was free with direct deposit your very right so many mixed reviews on this bank. Might be wise to shop around and or look at places like Prosper,etc.

I've used Citizens Bank for over 5 years now, I have no complaints. I got two credit cards with them with a soft pull, no HP when I was preapproved in branch. Never had any issues with my checking or savings accounts either. I can't speak for their personal loans, but I'd say if they're offering a good rate then go for it.

Maybe they've changed but doubtful also Citizens Bank (RBS) is a small bank so if your in another state you won't have free access to ATM's if you decide to bank with them plus with your credit scores there are no limits and could easily find that sorta rate at a credit union.
