NFCU SSL $5100 for 60 Approval

Well FINALLY!

Two weeks ago I tried doing 3100 for 60 months but I made the faux pas of making my application In Person (🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻) because I was in the branch and thought, God knows what I thought. That it would save me the wait time on the phone 📲. Probably.

Well, the guy who helped me then insisted on phoning and speaking to a LO for it to process faster (nooooo. Oops) and they had to p'ss on it and leave their mark that they'd reviewed it and... gnashing of teeth 🦷, changed the terms to 36 months. I already have a 12 month. I have the funds now for the 60 months. But no!

I let the offer I didn't want sit there and expire. Was able to add more funds leading up to today being able to apply for $5100 (definitely OVER $5000 w/o needless brief holding up of my funds).

Today deposited the last of the funds necessary to take me over $5100 and even transferred an additional $445 from my nRewards to buffer it.

Phoned to make the app. He even mentioned the expired offer. I let him know I really wanted the 60 months terms and had more funds to meet their preferred loan amount for the 60 months terms.

I got approved!

Now get this... the previous reason given for why they changed it from 50 months 😍 to 36 months 😩 was the brevity/thinness of my relationship with NFCU. Let it grow. But the man today said it was because the monthly payment amount would be so small. Completely different. Gack.

Approved and just signed the loan papers digitally. 😀

I did the $501 for 12 months in MAR because I both needed to replace the loan mix which my closed FH FreshStart filled and I wanted to start a Loan relationship w NFCU. To thicken my profile w them.

Next is a placeholder Roth IRA until I later move it to a MF place. I adore the speed by phone w which I can do so many transactions and even more so via the app. 🙏🏻

How soon do my original funds get released? There appears to be a time lag...

I paid the loan down. About 4600 and change should sometime soon reappear in my Savings Account's available funds... Processing and all.., what, a week? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

My $2,733 secured funds for my SSL were released in my share savings account 4 days after I made my first payment of $2,733.

TY! 🙏🏻 Yes. They hit my account today, Thursday after I paid most of my loan off Monday and Tuesday. Breathing again now. 😂😁😇
