I believe NASSCO or BAE are the only ones they accept.

SEG - Select Employee Group (a qualifier)

NASSCO - National Steel and Shipbuilding Company

BAE - British Aerospace Systems

Both are shipbuilders in San Diego.

SEG stands for select employee group, not an actual organization. No idea on the other two.

Funny thing is - I clicked other and then typed in my workplace and it said "You Qualify"

Honestly, I'm not surprised. There are quite a few companies that support the military and if they accept shipbuilders, they'll probably accept aviation or other defense companies like Northrop Grumman and Boeing.

Applied with "other" went through the whole process. Gave me the 5-10 review message.

then an email asking for DL and Utility bill, which I uploaded. Now it's a waiting game.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing ?

There was a post about someone who tried this recently and they were denied membership but I'm having no luck actually finding the post to link you to it.
