Zelle frequency

Does anyone know if it is bad to frequently send money to the same person using zelle? My definition of frequent is mulitple times a week. I just don't want to trip up some fraud thing.

I never had a problem and I was moving 5-9k at a time.

Any limitation will more than likely come from your sponsering bank. I'd reach out to them.

I use Zelle daily with multiple banks(multiple emails) and sometimes several times a day. Send to family, friends and myself with no issue. Some banks have daily amount limits or minimum send limits but I've had zero problems. Been using since it first came out.

Not really... I Zelle from my business account at chase to my personal at Citi or to DW account 10K sometimes.. not sure what the limit is but the first time they did it they called me, just to verify NBD.

I had occasion to ask a friend for money through Zelle multiple times in one day. (I did it to keep various transactions straight.)

Relatively small amounts, but by the time I asked for the fifth (or so) amount, my friend was warned that there might be something suspicious going on.

So I backed off.

But that was the only consequence for a lot of transactions in a day.

I always use zelle to send money to my roomate or myself a couple of times a week. The only problem I had was sending over 1.5k, but its usually with one bank out of the 3 I have.

The only time I've had any issues from Zelle was with sending a large(ish) amount to a new recipient, and that was a safety issue that I didn't mind.

With 'established' recipients the only thing I run into now is the limit set by my bank(s). This has been annoying with USAA in particular, since their daily limit is a relatively low $1000 and there's no way to get it raised. Wells Fargo is a much more reasonable $3500 for standard accounts (possibly higher for some).

I have learned from this experience to send a small token amount to a new recipient (to make them 'established') before sending a larger amount, but of course this isn't required.

I have never had an issue and I get zelle payments from the same people each week.
