Has anyone opened an account with them recently will they HP for a checking account?

I opened an account with them a couple weeks ago for their current checking promo. No hard pull, but I think they still have ongoing issues with opening an account online and if you call in, you'll be on hold for quite some time. I ended up opening in branch, which was painless. If you're going the in-branch route, be sure to bring a debit card for the opening deposit.

Saw the many horror stories and opened online despite the risk. Everything has been going seemingly smooth so far, no hard pull.
