Hello FICO forums friends. Has anyone ever got a $50,000 CLOC CL! I had a friend who just informed me she has a $50,000 CLOC with Nfcu 😳 I thought the max is $15,000 can anyone confirm if this is possible!!

Apparently the max is now $500. I think this is new for 2022? But I've never heard of 50k. I've heard of plenty of 25k

Thank you for replying I was thinking the same to never heard of $50,000 but last I heard couple years back the max is $15,000 for Cloc and maybe before 2012 $25,000 but currently I believe $500 depend on credit profile. Thks just curious!

When I applied for mine in 2018, the maximum was $15K for a CLOC. I only asked for $10K and I got approved for it. 🤷 I've not read of a higher limit than that but it could be someone who's grandfathered into an older plan, with an income that can support that large of a limit.

I'd say friend needs to show you from their NFCU app 🤓

As long as I've known plus all the DPs floating around here for years + other older boards, the max NFCU has issued has been 15K per account. One could have multiple CLOCs, but they have to be attached to separate deposit accounts. I think the most I've seen is $45K across 3 CLOCs, but not as a single one.

Mine is 15,000.

Used it like a PLOC one time to pay off CC debt with periodic extra large payments. Drove down my CC minimum payments and opened up cash flow.

I asked my friend to show me the $50,000 and she said she rather not bcuz its personal 🙄 I Totally got my answer. I got $15,000 CLOC and I showed prove of the CLOC!! SMH 🤔

Sounds to me like it doesn't exist lol...much like the infamous 4th NFCU 'unicorn' CC m8!

I mean, a CLOC screenshot is very easy on a mobile device because it doesn't reveal any PI (even with details hidden) since it only displays the top section with the CL and available credit. Oh well, at least you tried @gingerflower, but I understand.

Yeah, that whole 4th NFCU CC thing was busted long ago. Maybe your friend was trying to impress you lol. But, little did they know you knew best!

I used to have a 20K CLOC with NFCU back in around 2013/2014. Wasn't split up in any type of way. It was definitely possible at one point but they've tightened up significantly.
