Does anyone have any datapoints like Chex Systems etc? I am thinking of CU for a savings account

I applied for a loan once and they pulled TU.

Yes, they pulled Chex Systems in 2021 when I became a member and TU for credit card.

The VISA started at $1000 ( 14 months post BK discharge) and there it remains. They always say too many other credit accounts

I used to be a member. They definitely pull Chex. Never tried for a credit card when I was a member with them. Summit is one of the few credit unions that has an open charter which means anyone can join. When I joined (I live in Minnesota) They did email me saying they're in Wisconsin and not Minnesota and asked if I was aware of that and if I still wanted to be a member.

They also charge a $5 annual fee (Or maybe it was $10, can't remember) for having debit card with their free checking account which I didn't notice before joining and it really rubbed me the wrong way, especially seeing as how this is suppose to be a credit union and not a big bank and was one of the deciding factors that lead me to close my account with them. Yeah, it's only $5/year but seriously? This is the first financial institution i've seen charge for a debit card like that. Imagine the uproar if Wells Fargo, Chase, or Bank of America were to introduce that same debit card fee. In fact, I believe I remember Bank of America announcing something similar like that around 2011-ish and ended up never moving forward with it due to the backlash.

I do really like their cow design & cheese design that they offer for their debit cards though.

@IaBoy62 Approximately how many accounts do you have? In the long term they have a credit card I might be interested. Currently I have 6 revolving accounts and no installments. Credit report has no derogatory information.

@AndySoCal Looking back in my records, I probably had 17 accounts (car loan, personal loan, credit cards) when approved and maybe 21 last time I asked for CLI. They are always nice and friendly...just no go for a larger limit.
