CFCU is a local CU for me that has approximately 23 branches between Oklahoma and Kansas. I have been a member for about a decade now but only used them for loans because they always give the best rates for me.

Anywho, with NFCU hindering my Zelle usage I decided to open a checking account with CFCU and they have several interesting options.

Pay Me Checking: earn $0.10 per debit card transaction on transactions that are $10.00+. You also have $10 in out of network ATM reimbursement and no FTF.

Performance Checking: Up to 5.00% APY on balances up to $30,000. You also get the $10 reimbursement and no FTF.

Having been a member as long as I have, I regret not utilizing them for their deposit offerings...but I am now!

@dukembams @I call this the great credit union secret. On CFCU web site under about ,locations there is a choice called coop shared branches this a list of other credit unions you can used their ATM with no fee you can find it unions anywhere in the USA. Per their website their are over 5,000 locations. The trans fund option should give a list of places where you can make a deposit that are not CFCU branches anywhere in the USA. I am glad you found another good credit union. I am thinking of moving my checking account to a credit union. I already have savings accounts with them.

Primis not accepting new customers right now, according to their website. It may be different if you have a local branch.

Correct! I have the Co-Op app to find shared branches and then I have the Tranfund app to locate surcharge free ATM's. Another thing I have noticed is POS transactions settle FAST. I grabbed some food last night around 7:30 PM CST and it settled around 9:00 AM CST this morning. They may have the quickest POS settling I have seen.

Amex pays some points in debit purchases.

These guys pay 7% for 15 debit purchases/month.
