Thanks, but if I had $100k laying around I wouldn't be chasing bank account bonuses. And if I had a $100k laying around I wouldn't trust HSBC with it, it might end up in El Chapo Guzman's hands.

Guess they had to set the bonus commeasurately with the Chase Sapphire Banking bonus for 75k deposited, but that was for investments too not just cash.

If I ever have 100k sitting around in a checking or savings account, let alone for 90 days, somebody slap me. Admittedly that's what 3% APR give or take, but there's near zero risk investments which are darned close to that rate now anyway.
