I agree and I don't think 25 is worth the hard pull.

But everyone I can find talking about that is older listings and I don't know if that is changed. That's why I'm asking.

I've been searching for anybody who has recently within the past year applied and receive a Capital One 360 line of credit.

I know previously it was a hard pull to get a $25 line of credit but I'm curious if that's changed.

I know a lot has changed with Capital One 360 in the recent couple years and I'm curious if this is updated or changed and the current situation.

Thanks in advance. :-)

Yeah, all the data points are 4-5 years old. But knowing Cap One I would bet on a HP. And I see the max OD LOC is $1k, for me I wouldn't risk a HP for only $1k in credit. I did find a Cap One FAQ that says "review the terms & conditions" before proceeding. It may tell you there, but I've never seen one yet that said "we will pull your credit" instead of "we may pull your credit".

I added the LOC to my Capital One 360 account back in June 2017. I don't recall it being a hard pull but I'm not certain because just opening the checking account may have required a satisfactory credit score IIRC. Anyway, my inital LOC was only for $100 but after 30 days of being open they automatically increased it to $200. I have never asked for an increase as I really don't use it but it's nice to know it's there. The one time I did use it the interest charged was really low (like less than $5) using the full amount for the entire 30 days. It doesn't report to the credit bureaus at all unlike Penfed and NFCU.

I've had my account for two or three years now. So I don't think it's where the hard pull at this point if it's not going to report to bureaus.

I'll have to keep an eye on it and do some more research. Maybe I'll just call and ask about the hard pull.
