Chase Auto Finance switch from Equifax to Experian

Speaking to my team of underwriters this past week, I've been told some suprising news.

JPMorgan Chase which in addition to providing loans directly and indirectly and also includes Chase Auto Finance, Aston Martin Financial Services, Enterprise Auto Finance, Fisker Finance, Jaguar Financial Group, Land Rover Financial Group, Maserati Capital USA, McLaren Financial Services, Rivian Financial Services and Subaru Motors Finance is moving to Experian for underwriting as their primary bureau.

Equifax had been the primary bureau for decisions for many many years. This is likely to be good news for folks who have stubborn Equifax issues.

This appears to be a change nationally as the buyers I speak to regularly are Mid-West and West Coast offices and I am East Coast. Thought this information might be useful.

It's already happening the last 3 to 4 weeks so far.

That's great news seeing as i bank with Chase and my EX is way better than my EQ. My EX auto score is on the brink of "Good" range.

Interesting as I'm West Coast and have had 2 auto loans (1 lease, 1 loan) in the past 3 years from 2 of the brands you mentioned and BOTH were TU HP and scores. EX was never pulled or reviewed.
