no I don't have a house, it really surprised me because I have a charged off credit card with capital one which resulted in them filing a judgement against me. It is however 6 years old but it is still on my credit report so I didn't think they would approve me but my prayers were answered anything is posible.

The buying process was painless. I never thought I would be able to get financing with my scores but I kept reading this forum for hope and It paid off. I put 1000 down

Awesome. Yeah, I agree, the interest rate is up there, but no worries there, soon you will be able to get that refinanced and go from there. Can I ask, do you have a mortgage? Reason I ask is because I have heard that capital one is more favoritable to those that have a mortgage. Oh, and I think very highly of CarMax. I've only had good experiences with them.
